Comedian/Actor Chris D'Elia accused of sexually harassing underage girls

In 2019, he portrayed the role of paedophile stand-up comedian Henderson in the Netflix thriller series You.On Twitter, a woman named Simone Rossi tweeted a screenshot of her alleged interactions with D'Elia, and accused him of grooming her.

“Imagine being 16 and being groomed by a stand-up comedian twice ur age and the only reason you never met up and never got physically m*lested was because u had just gotten a boyfriend ur own age," she wrote.

As Rossi’s tweet went viral, a number of other women came forward with their own allegations about D’Elia.

“He’s trash,” wrote one woman. “He put me on the list at a venue to see him perform and casually said I could then meet him in his car behind the building and suck his d***. I made up an excuse and never showed up.”

Another woman wrote: “F*** you @chrisdelia. You solicited nudes from minors while u were in Vancouver and tried to f*** my friend when we were 16, and when i called u out on twitter you told her you’d ruin her life if i didn’t delete it. absolute pedophile scumbag [sic].”

The Twitter account SheRatesDogs, which shares anonymous stories submitted by women about their bad experiences with men, then tweeted that they had received numerous stories about D’Elia over the years.

The account began sharing screenshots, with anonymous women alleging that D’Elia had sexually harassed or assaulted them. Others alleged that D’Elia had solicited nude images from them, before threatening to make them public.

I liked him, thought he was good a stand up. I went and saw him perform live in Irvine, California.

I didn't know he was a sick fuk.

Not trying to sound like a pedo and I'm certainly not trying to defend the guy but the age of consent in 34 out of the 50 state is 16. If he was texting with 14 or 15 year olds that's 1 thing but his only real crime albeit creepy is being in a geographically undesirable state. Kind of weird how the drinking, smoking and voting age is the same in every state but what's considered statutory rape in one state is perfectly legal in 34 others. All these Selectively Outraged Woke liberals should start a new movement #YVM (Young Vaginas Matter) and protest the age of consent laws like they do when a convicted felon karmacally gets the life choked out of him.

I can't think of any instance where I'd ever be close to anywhere close to thinking a 30 or 40 year old man having sex with a 16 year old girl was ok.

I don't think any other fathers would dispute that either.

I cringe at a 30 something guy dating a 19 year old, let alone a girl that just barely is over stuffed animals and is dipping the toe in getting asked to prom.

our current culture has prolonged the development of our youth, adolescent, and young adulthood development. I think that needs to be taken into account for every era.

in the late 1800's I'm sure gettting married at 17 was no big deal, but things have changed quite a bit.

Agree. I found his stuff rarely funny. His sitcom was horrible; all he did was that same stupid voice that he does the whole time.
