#36Ah yes let’s play the hypothetical game! If‘s, what’s, and bags of nuts! You don’t know that any more than you know the lotto numbers for tonight! It just fits your agenda to frame it in the manner you and others attempt to. Of course we all know you have absolutely no agenda and are totally unbiased correct? LolComment -

#37True. Testing a big part of it.Originally posted by 2daBankNew cases been for the most part next to nothing around here and surrounding counties, lot of folks went down to lake of ozarks over memorial weekend (if you recall it was all over the pictures of everyone partying at the lake! Lol). Didn’t seem to cause the drastic spike ppl were talking bout. As been mentioned I think the places seeing huge increases has as much to do with amount of testing as it does ppl getting lax with the caution.
Lol, if the numbers don't go up in the next week here in NYC, can we reopen everything?Comment -

#39I see people windows up with masks in the car in my rear view mirror; people walking across streets in open air with very sparsely populated walking paths to avoid being even 10 feet from someone.
Then I see packed bars and vegas casinos without a fcuk in the world on top of each other and no mask no nothing.

#41It just common sense the more testing the more cases they gonna find. I been saying since the beginning I thought the death rate numbers were incredibly skewed because there were obviously a fukk load of ppl that had it and recovered never knowing they had covid-19. So not only were death toll percentages blown out of proportion due to the hundreds of thousands that most likely had and recovered without being tested but on top of that they counting 90somethings with heart disease or any other number of ailments that let’s be real didn’t have long anyways as corona casualties which quite frankly I find incredibly disingenuous!Originally posted by bigtymer56True. #56Here in Cali most counties are widely ignoring the lockdown except the bay area and LA. Has been like that for over a month. I've been traveling around fishing and seen it firsthand. Lots of handshakes, hugs, groups of people, and very few masks. Many beaches are packed. If there was going to be an overwhelming second (not that there was much of a first) wave it would have happened.
Turn off your screen and go outside. Your freedom is the most important thing you have anyways.Comment -

Surely you not suggesting covid gonna kill me? I’m fairly young (generally speaking, not really), I’m in fairly good shape (although taking my gym away really hurt that!), and I’m healthy! there a better chance I get hit by a bus that just got struck by lightening than me dying from corona!
Speaking of gyms, I’d love to hear the argument that it better for me (or anyone else) to take away my ability to work out!!!! I don’t have ppl around me at the gym, wipe off equipment with disinfectant before and after use. From my gym experience the only ppl who don’t typically social distance is the freakin Bosnians who tend to be in large groups and do more talking than lifting! It would thrill me if they put a stop to that as they occasionally get on my nerves!Comment -

#60Jesus. My damn plates expire end of this month and lost my wallet few weeks ago so I need a new license as well. I’ve been by both license offices in my area several times and it a fukkin disaster! One appears to be attempting social distancing but there huge line packed in parking lot. The other looked like 50 ppl were crammed inside that little spot and still had a line around the damn block outside!Originally posted by EmpireMaker

There no chance I would even bother for my id, I got a old state one I had back when my license was suspended, it expired but whatever, it will have to be fine until I can reasonably get another! Actually was told I might be able to do that online: but I gotta get the stinking plates done by end of month. Not sure how I’m gonna pull that off? Thinking might take a day off and go 1st thing when they open, maybe that won’t be as bad?? God I’m dreading that nonsense! Those places suck when there not 100 ppl there!!Comment -

#65Note: As President Donald Trump resumes indoor rallies, his campaign has implemented a new policy that attendees cannot sue if they contract the virus at the event.
At a time when the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends against large gatherings, the Trump campaign aims to resume large-scale, indoor rallies. Such rallies are extremely likely to spread the coronavirus, particularly if Trump discourages attendees from wearing masks either explicitly or by example.
The Trump campaign may have shied away from such a move if it could be held accountable for the resulting illness and potential deaths that are likely to follow. Instead, it aims to escape liability and any measure of accountability by forcing attendees to waive their rights through contract terms that they are unlikely even to notice.
Immunity from lawsuits encourages irresponsible and reckless behavior, and undermines public health, as the Trump campaign is now shamefully making clear. Congress must learn from the bad Trump campaign example and protect the rights of workers, patients and consumers. That means no immunity for businesses and entities that engage in unreasonable conduct that endangers people by exposing them to the coronavirus.Comment -

#69It’s pretty ridiculous they have to even do that. When someone decides to attend such a event they are acknowledging there may be some risk whether it be corona, a car wreck on the way, or they get stampeded by elephants. Life involves risk and we should be accountable for the amount of which we willing to take in order to get on with our lives.Originally posted by EmpireMakerNote: As President Donald Trump resumes indoor rallies, his campaign has implemented a new policy that attendees cannot sue if they contract the virus at the event.
