I agree completely. There's a GIGANTIC part of the equation that everyone is ignoring completely, or more than likely they just haven't thought about. That part of the equation is... "How many times has that same police officer treated a white man exactly the same way?" If the answer is PLENTY, then that means that there is no evidence that that police officer is even racist. He's just a bad cop. If there were 9 videos of that same police officer doing the same thing to a white man... it would mean he's just a bad cop.

Is anyone accusing the cops above of being racist? NO. Race has nothing to do with it. But had the 75 year old man above been black.... it would be a different story entirely. But again... race would have nothing to do with it. It would merely be an illusion of racism. Now... I'm not saying there aren't racist cops. But there's a CHANCE that many of these cops treat everyone the same... but people only seem to notice when the victim is black.

I'm all for black lives matter... as do all lives. But I wish just once... a leader in the black community would say something like... "The first step in being treated fairly by the police is to stop committing crimes."

And FYI, at this point (at least from what I've seen is personally) there might actually be more white people protesting than black people. Shit actually has me hopeful for some change.

But then when I saw him bleeding from the ear I knew it wasn't fake. What bothered me was the cops reaction to what had just happened. An old man is bleeding profusely from the ear and they either didn't notice or they don't give a shit. Is this what they call protect and serve? Cops were facing a riot and moving forward at that time, intense moment for all, a few cops wanted to stop and help the old man bleeding on the ground and were stopped, not cool for sure..

Bottom line though Medics were called to the scene though and the old man didn't die..
