I’m setting myself up probably by posting this but this is quite the story. Could you imagine being locked up that long for a crime you didn’t commit? The fact that there’s so many stories like this should show that a change is needed

Maybe this story doesn’t fit with the racism. Don’t want to have evidence of actual injustices then how would that fit the storyline of our SBR racist posters?

This is a life sentence at 22 years old for not committing a crime. I don’t think a weed case is even close to comparison

You can’t post links correctly so I didn’t read them. My point was there are people that have been in prison for years for simple weed crimes that you just get a citation for today.

Send the info to Kanye and Kim as they are interested in freeing the unjustly incarcerated.

Yeah my bad I thought people would know how to drag and drop. People need it shoved in their face to check it out, why become more informed?

He’s out, he was released this year. If you were in prison for that long I bet you wouldn’t pick and choose who was going to help you get out after getting sentence to life for a crime you didn’t commit

Many people have been wrongly imprisoned.

                      The list is endless.

Of course the most famous person who didn't go to jail when he should have was a black guy in a white bronco.

our court system is just a total joke. judge rulings are based on politics. prosecutors try to cheat and mislead the jury to win at any cost even when they know the person is innocent. public defenders are lazy incompetents with too many cases. juries convict with no compelling evidence.

i would respect antifa/blm more if they went after known corrupt police/judges/prosecutors/politicians instead of random ppl. go attack the corrupt and burn their houses down. how many of those ppl would do the things they do if they knew ppl would be coming for them? there is racism but ppl of every color without wealth and influence are greatly affected.

Because he had money and many have said he was looked at as a white guy in a lot of aspects which gave him a lot of advantages that he shouldn’t of had based on the fact that he’s a psycho

If this list had to be broken down by race do you think you would see it being equal?

Stats can be used anyway one wants to. I mean i hear that 34% of blacks are the ones that got killed by police when they only make up 13% of the population.

Someone can also say that they do way more then 13% of the crime. That's okay I guess.

Honestly I'm sick of all this shit. There are good and bad in every community.

I just want it to be equal that’s it. I agree with your statistic skewing thought though, that is true. honestly you know why I feel like this step is important? Because I think this will lead to more and more people being informed politically. You have issues with your towns police and things they are doing wrong? Vote down their town budget over and over. You have issues with your governor only caring about wealthy donors vote against him and the other rich challengers and put someone else in. You truly need more people informed and together to identify the problems and to make things better. Protesting can only go so far.

Duker...My take on the release of the wrongly incarcerated also.
If the imprisoned are innocent, then the path to their freedom is not as important
                                        as their actual release.
Neither are the characters involved in the path of their freedom...Be it Kanye, Kim or any of the law students, legal groups working to free the innocent.
God bless all of the folks involved in freeing the innocent.
