One of my favorite days of the year, Nasher.

Anybody not eating cheese today should be ashamed of themselves.

Thats cheddar and mozzarella cheese under that sour cream.

When I was a youngster knee high to a grasshopper Daddy Nasher and I would go to the butcher shop after mass on Sunday's for some choice cold cuts.


I remember seeing a glass enclosed meat and cheese section.
The butcher shop had all sorts of cheeses and I distinctly remember seeing head cheese.
It was the grossest looking hunk of cheese I ever saw.
I mean it looked like it had pig snouts and pig ears and other assorted pig parts.
It was just wrong.

What's nine words you'll never hear uttered?

"Let me get a pound of head cheese please"

Damn, Cheese Day immediately followed by Donut Day. Not sure how they justify that. Who is charge of this scheduling? You would think Donut Day would be followed by Carrot Day or something else a little less viceful. Anyway, I'll see if I can get my hands on some sort of cream cheese filled donut today.
