I watched the video that showed the initial contact and it did not look like Floyd was resisting at all.

Not sure what happened when they got to the police car but if no other videos or nothing else happened, these cops are fukked and deserve to be put away.

All of my experiences with cops in my life have been awful, I'm always shitting my pants everytime I get pulled over. Always getting searched illegally, been put in cuffs for no reason, put in the back of a cop car for no reason, been chased by cops, I have a very bad history with them for doing absolutely nothing.

What does it tell you, that I'm a 30 year old white guy who FEARS the police? It means something is wrong with the system.

Doesn't explain the fact of why I get nervous everytime I see a police officer even though I've never done anything. It's ingrained in me, this fear of them... I think there are many more bad cops than there are good ones. Most cops are not educated, they are arrogant pricks who take the job because they want to be in a position of power. How many cops actually become cops because they are dedicated to serving and protecting the people? I would say very slim. The prosperity of power, of security, of pension... that's why there are bad cops, because they aren't passionate about the task they sign up for.

Still hearing all kinds of mixed stories about why the cops were even arresting the guy. Media is slowly releasing short video clips.

Heard the wrong cop got doxxed and a crew of protestors showed up at the wrong house.

Cops need to figure out a better way to handle these situations. Sometimes it might just be better to get back in their cars and leave.

OK so here's the deal. This is straight from 2 sources, young Native Americans who I frequent on Lake/ Chicago and Franklin / Chicago (the incident was on 38th and Chicago 8 blocks South).

Dude was legit good man. Was a barback and swamper at Conga....a latin hangout off E Hennepin. Been there for years, used to stock it on my beer route. Family owned and operated. If he worked there, he was a quality dude.

The incident at Cup (not Cub, our large chain here) involved WIC and possible a friends ID to purchase grocery items (because everyone is laid off due to MN still be locked down). Apoarently he had spent his cash on lotto tickets and booze earlier. The store clerk was a friend of a friend and not the regular. She wouldn't do the transaction with the bad ID. Her manager then called the police because LLOYD loitered around begging for her to do this and evidently had no mask on. The store has a "no mask no entry" policy and that's the basis for the call.

He left upon learning of the call and sat in a parked car. He was asked to exit the vehicle, and he did. He was unarmed, he did not resist. A dozen witnesses began filming the incident so the police walked him across the street, where they then threw him down and proceeded with the arrest. This is all on film.

The police initially also filed A FALSE REPORT claiming LLOYD resisted arrest and was belligerent, even standing on the hood of a car. They later destroyed the report.

The cops are pieces of shit. Been saying it for years. When in beer biz dmhere I'd see cops fukking 13 and 14 yr old Indian girls for 20 bucks. It's crazy...
