It’s California so the owner probably will be charged with a crime....in Texas any cop will tell you that if you shoot a criminal on your property, you better kill him...

The garage was converted into an apartment that rents for $2500 a month now.. The carport is on the side of my property which is open to the alley away from the main house.. Never had a theft problem ever with my cars..

I think I left my car door unlocked after unloading groceries the day before. I do have the factory alarm and it didn't go off but everything in my glove dash was stolen, other stuff in back seat also, a brand new battery jumper kit I just bought for $100 and other emergency car stuff. My battery was gone to.. I woke up the next day and found my driverside door ajar..

I was like WTF? I'm just glad the car thiefs didn't try and ram a screw driver into ignition and try steal it. No broken glass either..

Exactly!! My neighbor is a cool dude also. I don't know him well but he's an older guy.. Has fancy cars and stuff.. I didn't think he was the type to have a gun.. Apparently he did and used it..

I hope he doesn't get charged with attempted murder or something stupid like that.. I'll report back to this thread when I find out more details Booya when I find out..

In Los Angeles he will likely be arrested and charged with at minimum ADW with an enhancement of intent to cause great bodily injury. He might get attempted murder. It’s total bullshit but the DA charges almost every time. It’s up to you to prove otherwise.
