While I have no idea if what’s posted is true, this is what the NCAA said last Friday. Things may have changed since then who knows. It wouldn’t surprise me if they canceled the season though

This is terrible news but saw it coming. Programs have been very clear about their intentions and w'eve even seen budgets out a few years produced and passed with no NCAAF stadium revenue collected.

The writing is on the wall, Kraken just push all your faces up to it so can see it was written with a finger dipped in shit.

What Kraken said corroborates info I have collected as well.

And yes, these "potential deadlines" are a big issue.

The problem really is that they have to delcare intentions so far in advance. They can't really flow and change with the fluid situation.

I know that athletic budgets are being worked on for ensuing years as we speak in mulitple programs.

No league or sets of teams are likely to play in a vacuum so if one system calls it off, it make sit tough for anyone to continue.

California already pushing students on off campus in the fall causes one huge as problem for everyone.

Exactly, that's why California pushing students off is a problem.

As far as the first part of the post...no conference or sets of teams playing in a vacuum, I have heard that from sources in California and it was corroborated in an interview by the SEC Commissioner the other day.

I don't even think they will consider a late start if they get past some of those "deadlines" but you can forget about any normal season for sure.

It will be cancelled, then they may try to get fluid for some kind of late winter football. But that alone brings another set of complications.

This is my business Steve, I have been gathering a lot of info from a lot of off the record sources.

The info is rarely if ever positive. Let's hope there's fluidity because as of now there is no season.
