Twilight Zone: what an amazing series
Nothing more to say. Just saying, a truly brilliant series.

I will say that I've listened to some of the Audio series, not as good. I like the abbreviated TV version, 2minute TwiZone, pretty nice.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Watched those a lot as a kid. Funny, I've quoted that series for the first time in years a few weeks ago, telling a friend its like we are in the twilight zone with this shutdown.

Old Man in the Cave, featuring James Coburn.

Check it out. What if we gave The Old Man the task of handicapping tomorrow's sports-card?

Twilight zone is story telling at its finest. When it comes to telling a simple -- but profound -- allegory that resonates deeply, can't be beat. Favorites off the top of my head are: "Monsters on Maple street", "To serve man", "eye of the beholder", the one where (spoilers...) the guy breaks his glasses after surviving nuclear annihilation ... and so many more.
In my intro to psychology class, I use this clip from the very first episode (where the whole episode until the last 2 minutes is just one guy, wandering alone in a town, descending into madness...) to drive home the point that without social interactions, nearly everyone would be a total mess. Very eloquent quote at 2:50.

Such a great show. If you like the twilight zone, definitely check out black mirror if you haven't already. Black mirror is basically a modern twilight zone (and is pretty damn good too).

A Who's Who of actors before they made it big. The casting was awesome!

Was there a more quintessential male actor than James Coburn? The chin + the grizzled voice were perfect.
