You fellas ever get to play with an excavator?

Ripped the shed down that was connected to garage. Old unlevel concrete underneath shed and backyard is a slight hill. My buddy dropped off excavator this morning and I got to play with that thing all day. Going to form up for concrete basketball court and leveled off lower part of yard and am going install an above ground pool. Gonna save thousands doing this shit myself. Kids should have a good summer.

You got that right manny. Planning to build the small deck quickly and design it to easily add on later. Would be dead space anyway but gonna take time and moneys.

Big question is have any of you guys got a chance to play with an excavator for a few hours? If not rent one and tear up your backyard and then pay a landscaper to fix it. Well worth it.

First time in excavator. Easy if you go slow and you're coordinated. Left and right hand controls have multiple functions.
But those operators are fast and make big bucks. Much respect to them... my back and neck are sore from it, and I work for a living. Just not used to the whiplash.

have a buddy that was an operator for 23 years, he busted his ass off but made well over $100k a year and now lives on a great pension
