Dont need a loan for a small biz. Need customers to walk thru the doors and buy stuff. Need cash infusion without adding on more debt and obligation to pay back.

Stimulus checks should be given to businesses as well. Anyone will take $1200 but with all due respect What hole is 1-time check for $1200 gonna plug if your monthly expenses are 5000 to 8000?

Whether your a small business, sole proprietor or incorporated you may very well be eligible for a loan that could be forgiven. Call your bank...Its called the Payck Protection Program run by the SBA, but you would beed to fill out an application through your lender.

Here's the application, borrower info sheet and FAQ sheet for the PPP that HockeyRocks mentioned.
Fairly basic and simple and can be forgiven if the spending of the loan criteria is met.

I think it expires 9-30-2020 or at least the expiration date on the application.
Get it in quickly, though. There are signs up at the drive up window at both of the banks I use stating they are no longer accepting PPP applications at this time.

That expiration date may not be correct, but it's for an 8 week period from the dates below.

some of these loans will be forgiven though so you wouldn't incur the debt

Issues are many with PPP..one issue is banks are now liable if loan is not forgiven and hold note at 1 percent over 2 years.they dont want that and have little interest.

I think what they mean by lender would even be the bank you have your cking accounts with. I have an S-Corp, haven't had to borrow money for years, my CPA told me no problem, use the bank that holds your business or personal cking account. I filed tuesday this week, within a few hours i received a comformation email thay had received my application..

Anyone know if you didn't file 2019 tax return yet, and your kid was 16 in 2018, will your kid get the 500 ? Will they go off age in most recent return which would be 2018 here?

They have to be 17 or younger at this time. Also if you claimed them and they are over 17 they will now receive anything.
