If the reason we are destroying regular peoples lives as well as an economy is to be sure there isn't too much strain on the healthcare system, is this an alternative?-- How about if you are feeling sick, but are under the age of 50 or so (we can debate the number) you don't go to the hospital? You'll recover. Too many people go to the doctor in normal times anyways. If one has a cold or flu,, everything you need is at CVS or Rite Aid--that's one reason our health insurance is so high in this country. But back to the problem at hand--everyone going to hospital when sick doesn't cure the current virus. Everyone thinks they're so smart with the 'stay at home' rhetoric--yeah, stay at home if you are sick, under 50 and in decent health. Leave the hospitals and doctors for the people for whom the virus will be more serious and let's get back to work.

But people who do not have COVID 19 needs to think twice if they have other medical
emergencies on whether or not go to the emergency room because you will most likely
become infected with COVID 19 as Medical professionals don't have enough protection for themselves let alone uninfected patients......
So unless you feel you're going to die you need to stay home or visit a emergency care
medical facility other than a hospital....
