The way that it spreads. I'm not dismissing its potential effects on myself, as there are some disturbing possibilities. And if I was in one of the higher risk groups I would obviously be more concerned. But if this thing spreads to 200 million people, then a bunch of bad things are going to happen no matter how small the percentages are. And since they happen in a short period of time, the overloading of the medical system makes things even worse.

As for the shutdowns, obviously they suck as well. But remember, all of the other countries are doing the same thing. So, whatever challenges that are faced in the aftermath of this, those countries will be facing the same thing.
