Uber eats is a good service. In my area, several restaurants are now offering free delivery.
It's a tough time for all industries.

Uber Eats is money.
I actually recently had an order that didn't show up. They said the driver didn't follow procedure and as a result couldn't get the food to me - but I'm 99.99% she stole it.
Anyway the point is it was about $15 including tip and they not only refunded the full amount to my CC, but also gave me the full amount in Uber dollars (which can be used for food or transportation).
That's pretty good.

5 hot dogs, a package of ham and bologna, 4 pieces of cheese slices, a bag of tostada chips. A box of saltine crackers = 70 servings. Few cans of soup and veggies, 12 eggs. Should be good for awhile. Staying mentality prepared for things to get worse.

Uber Eats is probably the best one once you get past the Grubhub first time discount.
Uber sent me a $10 off $30 order coupon yesterday that I probably won't use, that's just too much food/money to spend for just one person on 1/2 meals at home.
What I'm addicted to is Amazon Fresh. They just do everything right, so convenient and very reasonable pricing.

all these drivers are masters at removing items from your orders and scarfing them down just before they arrive at your door. some are packaged enough so they can't but most places employ people that are not that security conscious when they bag your food. they are making less money now (restaurant workers) so they are somewhat complacent about it and don't really care. you say i don't care if they take a couple of french fries out but their grimy fingers have been in your food. not very appealing. probably happen with around 25% of orders sent out.
