business as usual for those of us in the trades

wife is a waitress so she is home like everyone else

friend's wife owns a hair salon which she will lose as will many other small businesses/ restaurants

almost everyone in maine lives hand to mouth the mentality is sad

folks see me on the street probably think i am homeless too because of the clothes that i wear

but i saved for a rainy day Bear and it's pissing down like a double cvnted cow on a flat rock !!

i'm not worried about catching it. less than 16,000 cases in the united states. How many seats are in Dodgers stadium... very low numbers still

i am worried. dont like hearing we still lack ventilators and beds in NY. being unemployed now is not helping. not sure we will be able to reopen if the stay home order goes till june.

Thanks guys. She has some preexisting conditions so that's cause for great concern. I'll post if I know anything more. We're a couple thousand miles away from her so haven't had any physical contact and we don't have all the details yet. It sucks though as she is single guardian of 4 minors and there is no other family in the area.

I’m very concerned about the housing market, people who have lost their jobs and elderly people.

I have close to 0% concern about my own health as it relates to COVID-19.

You can't go by the reported numbers . They don't test anybody unless they are already ill. There are probably 10X as many reported, that aren't showing many symptoms. This is not a drill. The less contact you make the better. The only way out of this is people staying home 2-4 weeks until it dies off. That will stop the spread.

Thanks man. Turns out they didn't hospitalize her. Just gave her the hydroxychloroquine and some other stuff and sent her home. Hopefully that does the trick.

This is best way to avoid the disease. Number of infected people & deaths increasing day by day. Better to stay at home. If everybody stays at home, this virus will go off in 5-6 weeks.
