If they go individual case by case job by job...could take 4ever. Most people need $$$yesterday. Distribution/allocation is not fair but rather have something now then applying and usgov take a look case by case and delay for months or longer.

So then just give it to everyone. It will be repaid disproportionately by those who have more income anyway so the poor still wins. You don't think there are people who make above 75K who live paycheck to paycheck? Let's say you live in NYC and have student loans (1k payment a month). 75,000 is 45,000 if you're lucky after fed/state/city tax. 45,000 - 12,000 (student loan payments) = 33,000. Rent 1,500*12 = 18,000. 33,000-18,000. 15,000 left for the entire year and everything is more expensive in the city. Not to mention those who make that much likely didn't their whole career, and have other types of debt to pay off like most Americans. You think they're doing much saving? Why don't they get help? I still don't understand why anyone is getting paid who didn't lose their jobs. Most of them will just use it to pay off debt, I would like to do so also. Especially considering I will be probably paying it back 5X through taxes anyway.
