AM I the only one avoiding costco?

I haven't even dared to go near there - from the lines I've seen accumulating at various Costcos on the news, virus or not, not something I want to partake in!

No way I'm wasting my time going to Costco, I have multiple grocery stores available with everything I need. I went to a local store at 2 pm Wednesday afternoon, probably 15 people shopping, filled my cart, in and out in 30 minutes.

Maybe Costco is giving out a special virus antidote.

It's already a nightmare without the virus. It's , let's say, mostly Indians (dot not feather).

They can't drive a cart, nor a car, and walk slow as slugs and bang carts into each other all day.

dont need it, got 3 places around me with stock of the items i need at different times

costcos here in queens and long island get the filthiest people in them. not sure why people bother.

my kids in NJ said the same exact comment. great store but might be good to avoid. this is going to be difficult even if you don't get ill. I know call me captain obvious.

I'm in NJ and he's not wrong. I can drive a lot further for a "white" costco but it really doesn't matter virus wise, but at least they have manners.

I stocked up right before this thing blew up (by coincidence). Also, HOA fitness center which is 100 feet from my place is "closed", but it's not , and they are stocked to the brim with TP.

Let's just say I've got in a few "workouts" for my long term stratetgy.

Yes exactly. I mean I just don't get it - even if there was no risk of virus, why on earth would someone want to wait in a line like this? Surely you can get stuff in other stores, even if a bit harder than usual? Perhaps you spend a bit more, but you want to wait in a line like this for hours to save a few bucks (not to mention likely in the cold)? Just don't understand people...
