I think that's the consensus among experts yes.

All the drastic measures are just to make sure the health care system doesn't get overloaded.

Mind you, it's not only out of concerns for the critical risk group, but imagine you or one of your loved ones get into a car accident or something but the amount of care you can get is affected because everyone is busy with Corona cases. Would suck for sure...

its not a huge exponential growth yet.

USA alone has a bit of a steeper growth currently

scariest number for me is that 10% of resolved cases have been deaths.

it also seems to take 10-14 days to kill people. So the old and already sick people that caught it two thursdays ago, and got tested last thursday might still have another week before they slowly die.

so the #'s will have a significant lag. So after this 15 days, people will panic thinking its not working

1. Vast majority of tests have been negative: We had no idea how widespread this is. If it was like 75% of tests positive, it would be concerning. I think it was like 10-15% or so were positive.
2. Possible cure being rolled out in NY. Lots of positive info about the malaria drugs.
3. Ventilators being built, and delivered.

It looks bleak, but I think we are on our way to beating this.

I am thinking the official resolved number v deaths might be skewed as they may take 3 or 4 weeks to declare people clear. Or maybe some countries are not even bothering with that.
