Last time I was there, maybe six years ago, it wasn't horrible, I'd say run of the mill is a better description.

Cracker Barrel for pancakes or country fried steak is actually a very good meal, and a good bang for you buck.
But the rest of their menu is just OK.

Red Lobster is cheap garbage and in LA it's all black people that go there now. Could get jacked while eating or in the parking lot.

I'll take a pass. I'll hit up seafood restaurants on PCH and in Malibu and pay the piper if I get the urge.. Reel Inn is awesome and prices are reasonable, it's on PCH for outside dinning and seafood if you are local near Santa Monica where I'm at.

Dude, I grew up in Jersey twenty minutes from the Jersey shore.
Towns on the Raritan Bay, like Perth Amboy where Bon Jovi grew up have the most incredible seafood.
I've had SF seafood, that shit is overrated, a lot frozen then flash fried, if I want flash fried I'd go to Red Lobster.

Baltimore, before it became downtown Beirut had amazing seafood too.

Only west coast seafood I'm eating is Pacific salmon.
When it comes to seafood I have a east coast bias, starting up north with Maine lobsters, working down the coast to Florida.

- halibut
