Can confirm. Worked as a cook for about 8 years everything from fast food to 5 star restaurants. Doesn’t matter. You’d never eat in a restaurant again if I told you what goes on back there. Pro tip: don’t eat the “soup of the day”. It’s usually stuff that has gone bad and can’t be sold in normal form anymore so they mash it up into a soup.

Yup I owned a company for years that repaired restaurants after closing hours.. I've been and seen everything that goes on in those kitchens. That's why I cook and eat at home for years now and seldomly eat out. I try not to think about it when I do just put it that way...
