wouldn't have gone on my own.....but went with the wife for brownie points. not a horrible movie....but definitely forgettable over time. if you think phoenix laughing like a fool is good acting, you will love it. other than that, nothing spectacular about it.

I trust in the Rotten Tomatoes reviews as they are usually spot on!!. It usually works out for me.. I've learned over the years.

I don't want to waste 2 hours of my life on a lemon Cinncy that I'll never get back..

My theater room has a 190" screen that feels like it's wrapped around you like an IMAX movie, with 9.1.2 Dolby Atmos sound. Massage chairs that massage you head to toe. Full bar, including daiquiri machines, popcorn machine, traeger grill for the best brisket/bbq your mouth will ever taste. Sorry but the movie theater is a huge step down. I usually wait for video.

I also have four 55" tvs, 2 on each side, so I can watch 5 different games on football Saturday/Sundays. Each TV can do PIP, so I can actually do 10 games if I wanted. It's a hard sell to get me out of the house. I have tix to the Texans game Sunday but I really don't even want to go. I rather relax at home with laptop in hand.

My 65" HDTV with my Fisher and Kenwood 800 Watts between them with 32 speakers (2 of which are 15" woofers)blows the theater experience away in the sound department.........

It rattles the windows and dims the lights when the bass hits,Lol..........

phoenix is good at playing creepy losers but i prefer movies where the weak person works hard to become strong and get revenge. in this movie he just stayed weak. the movie was ok but not my style.

Cleans the sound up too much taking the superior naturalistic sound potential out of it...

That’s what I thought when I left the movie. Sure it’s getting a lot of hype in a year where there haven’t been a lot of great movies yet, but Phoenix isn’t even the best actor to play the Joker. Heath Ledger’s performance was incredible.

I admit I was distracted by when it took place.
One scene, theirs a theater full of people in tuxedos watching a black and white projector screen.
In another scene, theirs a hospital with automatic sliding doors.

Still, enjoyable to watch

Not that great of a movie, but a good movie.

I think this movie is getting that Chappelle's Netflix show treatment.
The director and main actor got a lot of unnecessary blow back for the content.
