So, you like Hurts to win the Heisman but don't think he is first round worthy??
Say he is invited to the Heisman presentation..
How many draft eligible players invited to the presentation haven't been drafted in the first round?
Not winners because that's an obvious answer but a participant?
Are there any?

There are many Heisman winner who didn't play or weren't good in the NFL. Look at Ware and Tony rice. Get lost.

Tony Rice never won the Heisman.
That said, the list goes on and on in terms of Heisman winners not translating to the NFL.

That wasn't the question..
As usual a circular answer from you..
BTW; Wasn't Ware the #1 overall pick in the draft?

There are many Heisman finalists and winners who were not good in the NFL. Don't care.

There are several Heisman winners who were not drafted in the first round, Troy Smith, Eric crouch,Charlie ward.
It is interesting if you look at quarterbacks who have won the Heisman, the overwhelming majority were busts in the NFL.
Leinart
Detmer
Ware
Weinke
White
Tebow
Griffin
Manziel
Mariota
Winston

Yeah if you look at players who win the Heisman or were Heisman finalists that weren't drafted early most were inaccurate passers who were dual threat QBs like hurts in college.

Plenty of.busts..
No.disagreement there..
A lot of GM's (and coaches) have blinders on when it comes to.evaluating .talent and how it could relate to the.nfl..
Out of.all those though, how many were.drafted in the first round?
Quite a lot..
Your list, maybe all..

Part of the reason I like this bet too is I think we will see mayfield and Murray get exposed this year as being system quarterbacks not ready for the NFL.

Indy just signed brisset to an extension.
It's a 24 hour news cycle and the most in the media have attention defi it disorder. Those ridiculous mock drafts just show it's time to sell high. 3 weeks ago many like kiper didn't even have hurts getting drafted and he's played no one with a defense. Everything is fluid.

Jalen Hurts is not a first round pick, not even close, he's not even on the draft big board for guys like Kiper right now. The take that Hurts will go in the first round is the one of the dumbest takes I've ever heard.
Tell us why he has the #1 qb rating in D1 ball then if he's one of the.most inaccurate qb's in all of college football..

Hard to believe someone could be this dumb. He hasn't played a single defense that is too 100. Top 100.

That's true..
Your claim of Hurts being one of the most inaccurate passers though doesn't compute well to him having the #1 qb rating in D1..
If he's as bad as you say, wouldn't it be lower than #1???
#2 perhaps?

Again look at his numbers against good defenses, he couldnt complete a pass in the first half against Georgia in the national championship game, that why he was benched. Alabama plays a lot of garbage teams each year.

Whether or not Jalen Hurts warrants a first round price tag or actually goes in the first round are two completely different takes because NFL GM's apparently have no discernment when it comes to quarterbacks. I've seen a lot of trash go in the first round. The list is a long one and Jalen Hurts certainly wouldn't be the worst among them.
