Ugly story I'm not proud of and I was younger at the time. I started picking green hard lemons off my lemon tree and throwing hard lemon fast balls at the dog. I was connecting and the Sheppard died that night. I could throw in low 90's back in the day. I didn't expect to kill it but I did. Neighbors never knew what happened.. They also never controlled or trained their dog.. That dog could have killed a small child when getting loose..

Ummm that's about it for me off the top of my head. Survived them all. ..

Was volunteering in Africa for a immunization outfit early 00s and while exploring on our off day yes, we came within 120 feet, of the one fukking thing you don't want to see... the feral male lion. Dude was just laying out in the sun a top a small collection of downed trees. He saw us, (10 of us, 3 guys, 7 girls) lifted his head a bit, let out a weird snort sound, and went back to sleep.

We walked slowly backwards about 90 feet then turned and ran as fast as we could back to the Jeep.... I don't think I slept that night!

The funny thing was...although all our anxiety was high, to a member nobody actually felt threatened. We talked about the speed and agility of the animal, whether our scatter gun could have saved us and joked about which girls would get eaten first, but truth is, it was actually a moment of mutual respect for another animal. Understanding that, outside of suburban America, without a car or weapons or a place to hide, we are fukkin nothing when playing on their home turf. That dude could have had anyone of us in under 20 seconds, and he knew it.

Really made us all think how the fukk man survived. How did our ancestors raise babys versus beasts like this....and live to tell about it?

Those big purple colored ones really will ruin your day.. I got caught in a school of those fockers one time in Malibu.. Got clipped on the legs.

Mountain lion on a small little lightning fire out in the middle of nowhere around midnight....another person saw the eyes and thought it was a bobcat until it came out of the shadows and into to the light of the fire......= wholly F@#$... sucker just walked around and stared...we stoked our bone pile and kept the pulaski close...
Hiking up a trail to a fire... right into a black bear....it was just as scared of me as I was of it...both went our own ways....

Was only like 8 to 10 lemons that I thru and no they didn't put two and two together as the dog was in the far end corner of the back yard near another lemon tree. That's why I threw the lemons because the dog was near another lemon tree. Here in Southern Cal everyone has lemon trees in their back yards.

The dog then came across the yard to the back door area of the house to lay down and die afterwards and was no where near the corner of that back yard again.. So yes I got away clean with murder...

Like I said it's a 100% true story that I'm not proud of. I like dogs but that dog was a mean SOB though. Spawn from the pits of hell I tell you!!! Tore up my forearm on that day. I needed pay back!!
