Pretty brutal indeed, but any of us who have been in there enough know that these streaks do inevitably happen. Painful indeed, but variance is a killer! I've been lucky enough not to have experienced that recently at least for a fairly simple reason: I've stayed out of there! They can't take from me what I don't put on the felt, that's for darn sure!

You can't. I've asked jj to disable it. And he laughs at me. You can disable flash, which powers sbr casino. But you can always re download flash. Just don't do it. I stick with sbr book the last few months. That's a whole lot safer.

Probably was a joke. I mean it's obviously +EV for them, so even if during some small stretch they were losing, in the long-term I can't imagine how high the # of points they must be up in the casino/sportsbook after all these years. As they say in Vegas, even having a 0.01% advantage, they will eventually bust the richest man in the world!

Many people have had this issue. When it happens click the lock icon on the left of the url in the address bar at the top of your browser. Go to site settings and change the flash option from "ask" to "allow". That should fix it then (you may need to reload, not sure).

Naw. He wasn't joking. Sbr used to offer better odds then Vegas. Their single deck blackjack offered blackjack like 1950 Vegas. Sbr BJ single deck paid out like Vegas 6-8 Decker's do now and They changed the odds. And they killed the sbr pros who were martingaling them on BJ or a martingale variation. Take 2000 points into sbr blackjack and see if you can quick hit and run on a martingale on them lol. They gonna crush you 8 out of 10 times. Which isn't true odds * they also capped bet size. You used to could bet 1500, now it's pitiful 700. And that was sbr John

Offering better odds than Vegas isn't necessarily meaningful - only real issue is if the house has an edge which I'm sure it did. If so, they can't be beaten long-term that's just obvious. And whether the players have a 48% return in BJ or a 49.5% return is not going to make a big difference in the short-term, they are essentially equally likely to get beaten for a big amount in either scenario.

Lowering bet size though is something they've done in everything, not just the casino, also the sportsbook. But that's not necessarily because they were being beaten - probably because they want to reduce their variance. Plenty of degens around here, if limits are high enough, there could be an Archie Karas out there who will take them for millions of points if they go on a sick run!

That's not what he said. He had the betoints to buy SBr Pro, but SBR slowplayed him, and didn't give him pro status. So he went into the casino, started losing and was trying to win back his sbr pro buy in points, but that hellhole casino ground fire into dust

Hey man. The golden age of sbr blackjack is long gone. Its never coming back. You can talk all you want but I played the golden age sbr BJ, the road was new and fast, smooth black topped, now it's a chunky pothole and gravel fills.
