#3Just go to Apple Music. $9 a month for anything that was offered on iTunes. Better than paying per song or album anyways.Comment -

#15Back in 1990ish, I had dozens(and I literally mean dozens) of memberships with Columbia House and BMG. I'd join up a new account under a previous one and get free CD's when the account was fulfilled. I acquired over 1,000 CD's through those services.Comment -

#17Jibbs, come down from the ledge man. Just stream it. All the music you could ever want for $9 a month. All my shit is Apple too. No reason to purchase and download when you can stream your favorite song 100 times a day and no additional charge.Comment -

#28So they can force you to pay $9 a month to get on their new program. Itunes was free, so that had to change..

#30Jeezus, educate yourself. You'll have iTunes on your computer until YOU delete it. And it's not like Apple is abandoning music, they're just separating media (music/video/books, etc.) into different apps. iTunes as it stands now is a bloated mess; I quit using it a few years back for all but the bare essentials (back up phone and ipad, basically). Step off the ledgeComment -

#31But you had to buy the songs... for $9/month you can download all of their songs and add them to playlists. If you bought 9 songs/month, you’re breaking even

How about buying CD's at stores, that's probably gonna go away next. I see Apple is slowly gonna take over the music sales industry just like Amazon did with general retail. Music stores where you can still buy CD's will begin to close in time as Apple continues to force it's monopoly on music on the population..
With free Itunes being a free music platform for most people and now seeing that go away is disturbing to see. What's next with Apple?Comment -

#32iTunes is a media manager, nothing more nothing less. How you populate that manager is up to you. And there are other options depending on your platform (osx, windows, etc.). The sky isn't falling.Comment -

#35I don't download 9 songs a month.. Maybe 5 a month when and if I get around to it.. I shouldn't have to pay $9 a month to Apple to continue to have a music platform and system replacing free Itunes.. That's the problem I have with the Apply as it's slowly becoming a monopoly on music purchasing now.

But stop hating on corporations that are capitalistic. Why don’t you give the pot dealers you’re leasing to a free three months of occupancy?Comment
