I have an account but no balance at 5 Dimes. I can't believe 5 Dimes waited nealy 3 weeks after the kidnapping to issue a statement - it seems they only did so because the news went public. That wouldn't inspire my confidence in the book if I had money there.

As a lawyer the fact that the reports are authorities aren't investigating likely means that they think this is a private dispute between business partners or a personal issue, not the kind of crime authorities in this country evidently are interested in.

The last time I spoke to him was at a football game in I think 2005. Even then it was several years even before that. I have no clue about what he was even doing with 5 dimes. I lost touch a couple years after college then for good. He always took care of the people closest to him and make sure he paid for drinks or food or whatever. He was a professional gambler even back in high school and before that. I know nothing about gambling outside he always said what he was doing before 5 dimes is not gambling anymore. Before 5 dimes he was covering lots of bets and had the ability to irritate people. I read some chats posted today from years ago with customers I guess. They sound so Tony.

That was funny Milwaukee mike. His mom died a decade ago and his dad passed recently. He has not been in area for a decade or more. Even so the news has traveled quickly in this small WV town among the people who remember him. He also was insanely intelligent. Graduated college with 4.0 and not sure he stepped foot on campus for anything other the exams. He walked into an economics class once never been to class or open a book and aced final. It’s still very sad for us to read the articles even though it’s been many years.
