two things that get me:

1) liberals say kavanaugh has an anger problem..... yet, there are all their backers screaming at people. 2 of them screaming in a senators face, blocking his exit from them.. i don't see how that isn't a giant double standard.

2) liberals played up the fact there was/were witness(es). now that they don't have a corraborating witness it doesn't seem to matter....... witness might be lying or they might have so much in questionable behaviour that this incident doesn't stand out.

one last thing i've mentioned before. at high school reunions, people's memories are SO BAD. .... college reunions are quite a bit better. hate to say it but i wonder if it's general intelligence level. of course, most people in this process are very intelligent.

What's troubling is no one in their 50's is the same person they were in College.. College kids party, they drink beer, they attend wild frat parties.. That's what you do in College to cut loose.. This is normal behavior...

I was a party animal in College, I got hammered, put my hands on many chicks and they were cool with it.. I never got slapped in the face.. A SHE SAID HE SAID allegation without any corroboration, no witnesses, no proof of anything alleged to back up the allegations should not derail a career and job opportunity for anyone in a position like KAV.. I'd say the same if it were a Democrat being confirmed..

there are major differences.

the above positions are elected officials. Some areas Judges, in lower courts are elected and in other areas they are appointed.

Whenever Appointments are the method to fill benches, you have to go through a lengthy application and review process.

When it comes to Federal and supreme court judges

we are talking about LIFETIME appointments. There is not voting them out if we realize 2-6 years later that they suck at their job.

once in, they are in until death or retirement so you are going to have to have confirmation hearing with the Senate Judiciary committee.

Otherwise Obama, could just appointed like 3 of his drug using bisexual law school buddies for LIFE< and there would be no checks and balances.

The founding fathers did a remarkable job of putting together a quite intricate democratic process that keeps the power in check throughout the branches.

I support it and am all for doing whatever it takes in making sure we get the right people in upholding the Constitution of the United States
