I actually wouldn't be surprised if hard proof liquor doesn't help.. I'm convinced a good Tequila with lemon slices cures sinus, early flu bug and just about anything that is beginning to make you sick..

I beat the flu bug twice in the last year with Tequila shots and lemon then drinking alot of water after.. Next morning good as GOLD....

I never tried it with food poisoning though.. Alcohol kills everything that's all I know.. Germs, your liver, etc... ..
