listening to video, the alleged concert goer is clueless..... for starters, he would have heard the bullets cracking (ie, the fire crackers) and hitting areas near him before he heard the reports/shots from the barrel that fired those bullets....
also, the initial sounds he heard were probably the shots being fired inside the mandalay bay at the sec guard, and not any stupid psy op "firecrackers" as this idiot proclaims......
lastly, there is no "boom" as in sonic boom of a bullet cracking the speed of sound barrier.... it is a much subdued cracking or popping sound that is nothing akin to a rifle report..... it's been described as follows:
The bullet passing through the air makes one or two additional sounds. First, if thebullet is supersonic, it will create a sonic boom... This isn't really a boom, however, it's more like a 'crack' or 'snap' sound. The other sound is a sort of buzzing sound, often compared to an angry bee.
fyi, I think a bullet from a .223 travels at about 4000 ft per sec, compared to sound that travels at 1125 ft per second, so the bullet and the snap will be heard before the rifle report at 300 yds plus, the distance he was shooting.... (but only by about a split second/half second later)Comment -
