    How many times can you rep 225 on the bench right now?
    Not talking about your glory days in college. If you went to Gold's Gym or Curves today, how many times could you rep out 225 on the bench?

    10?

    Isaac Asiata and Carl Lawson both repped it 35 times in the combine.

      I just do one handed clean and jerks with over 100 pounds

        Only try it at the end of bench workouts after everything else is finished. 6-8 reps once. Lift for stamina not bulk

        It's actually 224, the bar is 20 kilos or 44 pounds

                                                  In reality, if you can 4 sets of 5 with 60 second intervals you'd be considered extremely strong. Combine is antiquated in some of their skills, like the dash - the fasted guy probably didn't do much to move up the ladder because it's not a start and stop still. Same thing w the bench test. Start and stop 4 sets of 5 or 8 or something, see if they have stamina.

                                                        Who actually does benchpress anymore? I dont even train in a gym, try some real world training. Go get a prowler sled and push it up and down your street, bench press is more for if u want to look a certain way imo. Training should be about making yourself complete, work on your weeknesses and become a better athlete overall and healthier in the long run.

                                                                    guy, you get like 5'4 midgets in there with no wingspan, arched back huge, they have like 3 inch range of motion and it counts as 1rep

                                                                    never use bench for anything....deadlift is most important lift for every day life
