There are online leagues for Super Tecmo Bowl and also NHL94; In fact there is a Super Tecmo tournament in Madison in April. For those who follow or still enjoy playing the game, NFL Network has filmed us there before, there is a documentary available on YouTube.

Also I will play anyone on this form in Super Tecmo for cash, and even let you pick the matchup (within reason).

My kid wanted to buy a Wii U to play all the old Zelda games. I modded it (kind of a PITA) and you can play just about any game you want.
