1- WHO was in the vehicle with Scott?? Watch the video and it looks like another head moving around in the passenger seat..what did they see/hear?

2- What will happen to the second officer on scene after the shooting? He is black...and was right there when Slager retrieves and drops the taser by the body, also corroborated the initial story in the police reports. Heard about him today and of course, the black pundit said he's a black officer which we need more of, so there should be no charges brought against him if he did cover up the bad shoot.

After hearing the audio I guess we are going to get more info to come out. We've all seen episodes of COPS before Scott tells Slager he just bought the car so he doesn't have insurance....Slager tries to get him to check the glove box - where a passenger is seated- to be sure the previous owner didn't have an insurance card or relevant paperwork in there but Scott doesn't wanna open the glovebox...he then changed his story to he hasn't bought the car yet but planned to do so next week...that puts the cop on alert something is up with the two guys and being shady about the glove box area....poor dude ran to distract attention away from his buddy in the car who was holding the weed and got shot....unreal.

But...all could have been avoided had the guy just owned up to his warrants that even his family admits he had and was avoiding. A shame he got shot, or even tased for that fact, but just made it worse on himself by fleeing and grabbing a new charge.

Exactly. Just heat of the moment bad bad choice. He chased, wrestled with, tased, and then pulled and fired. Probably adrenaline and frustrated...but thats the fine line walked in that line of work.

So the order of progression makes it not a power complex? Nodody said he's an outright crazy pyschopath cop who shoots on impulse every single chance he gets, but explain shooting at a slow running unarmed man less than 12 yards away from you 8 Times, pause after the 7th shot and properly steady the 8th and final drop shot. That's a power complex. Lied also about the taser incident, he was gonna go free until the video popped up. Had numerous other citings also previously where it looked like he lied.

even if the poor guy was running away, since the officer said he took his taser he could be considered a "threat to the public" so he would have been "justified"(if you believe that nonsense) and majority cops out there would stand behind him. Judge wouldn't even care about the witness testimony, worthless. Somewhere along the way cops got superhero status in the legal system.

Last time I was selected for Jury Duty, I filled out the form and said that I could tell if someone is guilty just by looking at them.

I got picked anyways. It actually wasn't too bad though and my knowledge in automotive repair cost convinced the rest of the Jury to accept that the man on trial did over 5K in damage to another guy's vehicles. They ALL thought that the prosecution was stretching the money up about damage done to get the vandalism total over 5K.
