Now for your question, God creates all and He makes peace and love. He will use everything for His glory though. No matter evil or good, if it brings His children to Him, He will use it. Some of us need pain to listen, I know I did. I'd rather have went through more pain, then being lost to the world. It's not that Gods a jerk, He uses these things, to try to help us turn from our wicked ways and lifestyles, if we don't turn when the pain comes, we our do for what comes next. If all we had was happiness and joy, " which we will in heaven " why would we need God ? People would become arrogant, vain and full of pride. Some people think they have it all and a perfect life, that they don't need God, why would they, they have it all right ? Then they get cancer, or lose a child to a drunk driver .... Now they don't feel so indestructible, it humbles them, because they know they are not in control. We do not know the day or the hour of our death. We do not know what are life's will be like in the next ten years, it's all uncertain. When we have God with us, none of it matters, we know that we are in His hands. As long as we are doing His will helping others. We've done our Fathers business, and that's really all we are here to do, the flesh is short about a hundred years short, the soul is forever, eternity is timeless.

i cant buy into the idea that god will punish, either by disease or death or anything really shitty, just to let someone know he is in charge...it happens to the best of people too... shit happens to innocent kids, how does that get explained? ...seems he punishes/tempts/lets down the most innocent and loving of people... why isnt he killing off more of the non believers? why doesnt he give a true, very noticeable sign to all of the world that he is real? perform some impossible feat, like the ones in the bible, to prove to us all? its been what, 4-5000years since these impossible miracles "supposedly" happened...
im not even sure why god would trust that people would take his word, written by so many others, to heart... i mean, sure, they say its all the word of god, but he doesnt write a word... why are we supposed to trust the words of others, some who never met god/jc others they wrote about... how do we even know god wrote the 10 commandments? because others say that he did? why is there so much trust in these other authors? because they say to worship "god" we are supposed to? you see where im going with this? seems like you have to have more faith in many different authors and the panel of people who put the bible together, than a god itself

well, i think i typed something and erased it...about him writing the first tablet of the commandments, but what i meant was i didnt think he wrote anything thats actually in the bible itself...commandments on the tablet, aside... i was referring to scripture... i should have been more clear ... and i also think the commandments would be more believable if he had written some of his own scripture too... trusting so many others is such a hard thing to do...how in the world can we trust that they were told what to write...it was soooo long ago...

Jesus was in the temple with the elders, they were astonished at His understanding of scripture when He was just a boy... He used old Testament a lot, from the law to comparing what He was getting across, He used OT.

Ok, now for lucifer... He was a beautiful angel, Gods first in charge. He wanted Gods seat though, he got prideful and arrogant, we call this the " beast nature ". Like a beast with no reason, they just do things without thinking of consequences. Humans don't just do, we think before we act, and try to be as precise or accurate as we can be. This is why you see the bible relating to dragons, snakes, and beast a lot. It's the beast nature that is referred to, the brutish beast nature. Like in Popeye the cartoon, popeye was the good guy, using his might humbly and helping others, while " brutis " was a big guy that just pushed his weight around without thinking of what he was doing, just being nasty.
A lot of the bible is misunderstood, it's a spiritual book with physical elements.. but I think in Jeremiah it talks about lucifer and his fall a little bit have to look it up again. They do have a book called " the book of Enoch ", it's apocryphal though, so I read it but I don't place my trust of truth in it. It talks a lot about the fallen angels that fell from heaven in the beginning of time, how they made a pack with one another to come down to earth and take for themselves daughters of men. This is where we get Goliaths and this type of thing, it goes against Gods creation, the genetic code " DNA " that God made us with. Scientist are messing with this code today, cloning and so fourth, they even have little neon fish at walmart... They want us to like what they are doing... Pretty disgusting stuff going,

Raydog speaks of proof of the ten commandments written by God. That's a good question. Why did the templars
hide the holy grail that the ten commandments are in? From what I gather, the church had gotten too powerful
and the templar's hid it from them to stop/ curb their power. I hope most of us know the church (King James)
wrote much of what's in the bible to control it's people.
The same with the dead sea scrolls. Hidden from the powerful church. Supposedly, the dead sea scrolls are the true
story of Christ and is throwing a wrench in the way the church operates/ believes/ preaches.
As far as why bad things happen to good people, I feel your pain Ray. The world has always been a violent place.
From one celled animals to the weather. Everything has a beginning and an end. How we get to the end is out of
our control (in most cases).
Christ say's, whoever believes in him shall have everlasting life. We don't know, but we hope there's a better
place than this after we are gone. Just because we can't physically touch or see the other side, doesn't mean it's
