I started watching White Collar but got boring after a few episodes of the same crap.

can anyone suggest some good ones? I've been looking at Hemlock grove, bates Motel etc but havent started them

Damages, with Glenn Close and a host of good costars. Great show. Started on TNT (IIRC), ended up on Directv. Like most shows with quality actors, money became an issue. Binge watched the first season. If you like House of Cards, should like this. Glenn Close is as manipulative/unscrupulous as Kevin Spacey.

Watched a full season plus of Mad Men, finally gave up. Bored me to tears.

If you like scifi, Battlestar Galactica (early 2000s, not the 70's version) is good. Never watched all the star treks, etc., but this grew on me. Kind of dark, doesn't rush the story lines.

Not available on Netflix, but "The Wire" is a must see. Download it, should be able to find a torrent/fileshare.

Edit: The Wire is available through Netflix via dvd but no streaming.

yeah that's what I was getting at with the weeds reference im half way to dying I gave up on chick show things a while ago even watched true blood gay vampires and love stories i'll give true detective another chance shit was super slow lost me...on another note damn tanneyhill's wife is hot piece of ass he won with that one.

It is pretty slow but it keeps you wanting to watch it to figure out what the hell is happening. I like shows with story lines like that.

"Top of the Lake" 8 episode mini-series from New Zealand is very well made and fully developed. "The Fall" is another short series about a serial killer from Ireland, although good it is not a complete story.

Wire is amazing. Wife and I were sad when we wrapped that up. Almost no "bad" episodes!! House of cards is good but I'm only a few episodes in so not sure where it goes. Wire is much see. Blue mtn st is hilarious if your good with that kind of humor. I watch it on planes a lot. Laugh out loud all the time

Yes. Excellent writing and acting. Good character development. You will find yourself rooting for and against the same people in different situations.

I started watching Bates Motel. It's pretty decent, something to watch if you're bored.

Also finished season 1 of true detective, one of my favorite shows now by far.
