Seems counter intuitive, but give the guy a $20 of your winnings and he will give you a handful of drink tix. Only worth it if you want to chill at book and drink, but look at what cash price of your drink is vs. "cost" of tipping out cashier. Generally +ev to tip guy. Plus your giving that money to cashier and not casino. Win win in my book.
Going to Vegas this weekend, advice?

Fukkin guy spent his days riding the roller coaster at the top of the Strat and playing putt-putt.
I remember on our last day there he asked me & Paco if we wanted to join him and chicka on a guided "Segway tour of the Strip." We laughed our asses off at that fukkin clown!!
Those were good times.Comment -

#401. If you going to pay for sex pay a little more and head to a brothel in Puhrump where it is regulated and the girls get tested. Call them up and they will send you a car.
2. Instead of expecting better service for tipping scout out the cocktail's waitresses route, jump in front of her path, slip a twenty in a machine and play a penny a spin (very slowly...) until she takes your drink order.
3. Betting sports for drinks is a advanced technique and -EV for the beginner. See tip 2.
4. Cheap/comp buffets in Vegas are the life-blood of the +EV gambler... No rule that you can't just get one or two plates and move on. High end buffets (Caesar's is currently the best) are expensive but worth it for the experience. The waiter/waitress does nothing but pick up plates and serve drinks, works a huge area, and can survive on less than a hundred dollars an hour. A dollar or two per person and he or she is making more than you.
5. if you get ****** up, see #1.
6. If you going to a strip club go where the locals go - Club Palomino (grand-fathered in as the only full nude club that serves drinks in Vegas). Car drivers get juice for dropping off people at the strip clubs so if you don't have your own car to avoid the cover (renting a car for a day is cheaper than one or two cab rides) look for a limo as they should take you for free.
7. When running your friend's bets from back home (take as big of a piece of their action as you can handle because your friends are square...) make sure you get off the phone before heading to the window.
8. Learn from alpha male posters like Zeta and if you want girls hit on every one that walks by.
9. Save playing poker for your family trips to Vegas (see #12)
10. Scam the scammers. Like everyone roaming the strip promoters are trying to lighten the suckers' wallet so play games with them as well.
11. Get wasted and going to Inn and Out burger every night is fine. Skip the one right off the the strip on the freeway (long lines) and hit up the one near UNLV on Maryland Parkway as there are some cool college bars in that same area.
12. Both the hoover dam or the grand canyon are amazing but save it for an excuse for a family vacation to Vegas after you are married and have kids...
13. LVH has the most options on the board but still not going to find the offerings of off-shore.Comment -

#48You are 21 and likely have a moderate budget. Stay out of the big clubs at night. You likely can't afford a table which means you can't afford the ladies in the club. The good ones are looking to get paid. Nice weather so check out the bars at Linq. Central and plenty of girls. Do go to a few of the pools and relax. Have at least one nice meal. If you see jj's bald ass, tackle him.Comment -

#63Forget bottle service, waste of money. All you have to do is ask "can I get a drink voucher" when you're at the window. Its hit or miss if you don't ask and just expect it. I'm sure they'll hook up a 21 year old as opposed to these old farts. I've never been turned down even for a single $50 bet. Split up your trips to the window to maximize free drinks instead of placing all your bets at once if you want. Check out a good buffet, worth the $50. Overall restaurants are underwhelming.Comment -

#66Definitely easier to get free drinks betting horses/dogs.
Go to a window at sportsbook on the horse side
and ask them what amount of bet is needed for a drink ticket
It might be $2-$10 for horses usually $50 plus for sports.
then this is what you do say he says $2 or $5
look to see what race is starting next Bet the heavy favorite
for the $2 or 5 to show so if the horse comes in 1st,2nd or 3rd
you win but it wont pay nothing your $2 bet might pay $2.10 or so
but you can go up cash and repeat
and repeat and repeat your not looking to win big money you want the free drink
so for $2-5 usually you can drink almost all day and yes the favorite
does lose every now and then but when drinks cost$5 or more each
you'll should get a many drinks for the same price, also use your
players card when betting horses best comps in casino up to 20x points
and dont forget to ask for drink ticketsComment -

#701. Don't Pay For Sex
2. Tip any new waitress you meet at any table or slot or sports book huge the first round.
3. don't expect free drinks at a book unless you are spending $300 + when you are at the window.
4. Don't go to a penetrating buffet.. go to a nice place instead.
5. if you get to ****** up, call an IV service and you will be back on your feet within an hour.
6. go to the spearmint rhino. after you get your dances.. get a breakfast sandwich to go .
7. Don't talk on your phone or be on your phone at all when you are at the betting windows.
8. Bang some newly divorced Cougar. They are easy pickings at the Roulette and Three Card Poker Tables.
9. Don't waste your time playing poker unless you are alone. You didn't go to vegas to not hang with your friends / girl or not bang chicks.
10. Don't believe what any promoter of any night club tells you. NOTHING he says is true. I can't stress this enough.
11. Go to Inn and Out burger before getting on your flight home.
12. Don't waste your time going to the hoover damm or the grand canyon or any of that shit.. thats not why you are in vegas.
13. sports books in vegas are not like online.. so don't think you are going to bet Italy League B Soccer. Or team total points for the First Inning . They have the basics ..
As for #6, that gets really expensive quickly.Comment
