Going to Vegas this weekend, advice?

Hey fellas, going to Vegas for the first time since turning 21.... I'd like to do some things, but gambling and drinking are at the top of the list. What's a sportsbook like? Is it possible to just hang around and just drink and watch sports there all day and night lol? I'll probably be doing a bunch of stuff, but I want to commit at least one day to just boozing and gambling, any advice or words of wisdom would be appreciated!

Orleans is my spot. It's off the strip but they have great table and slot comps and everybody at the sportsbook is great. Depending on what you bet you can even get some decent comps out of the sportsbook. I enjoy watching the games at the Irish pub or playing the roulette machine while my bets are taking place. French Market Buffet is great and I hear Big Als Oyster Bar Is Pretty Good As well. Make sure you sign up for players cards, one for the sportsbook and one for the casino. Casino points rack up quick. Enjoy yourself.

1. Don't Pay For Sex
2. Tip any new waitress you meet at any table or slot or sports book huge the first round.
3. don't expect free drinks at a book unless you are spending $300 + when you are at the window.
4. Don't go to a penetrating buffet.. go to a nice place instead.
5. if you get to ****** up, call an IV service and you will be back on your feet within an hour.
6. go to the spearmint rhino. after you get your dances.. get a breakfast sandwich to go .
7. Don't talk on your phone or be on your phone at all when you are at the betting windows.
8. Bang some newly divorced Cougar. They are easy pickings at the Roulette and Three Card Poker Tables.
9. Don't waste your time playing poker unless you are alone. You didn't go to vegas to not hang with your friends / girl or not bang chicks.
10. Don't believe what any promoter of any night club tells you. NOTHING he says is true. I can't stress this enough.
11. Go to Inn and Out burger before getting on your flight home.
12. Don't waste your time going to the hoover damm or the grand canyon or any of that shit.. thats not why you are in vegas.
13. sports books in vegas are not like online.. so don't think you are going to bet Italy League B Soccer. Or team total points for the First Inning . They have the basics ..

Maestro's Ocean Club @ aria, ask for tomahawk steak
Skip the blackjack tables
Play craps instead
use most of your roll for sportsbook, not tables
can't stress staying away from tables enough
encore beach club has best looking girls during the day
get bottle service if you're going to a nightclub (end up spending $60 to cut the line + round of drinks for you and your friends = $140)
should be able to get away with bottle service for under $800 for 3-4 dudes

visit LVH, it's a sight to see.

Pretty much but unless you're betting thousands of dollars you will pay $4-6 a drink in the sportsbook. Smart vegas vets know to go to a bar out $20 in a 25c video poker and get a comped drink for little to no risk. Yes you can hang in the sportsbook all day and drink. If you want to catch an nba playoff game you need to go 2 hours early to get a seat.

This is great! Can't thank yall enough for this info. I'm hoping to bet at least 1 or 2 grand on sports. I'm not going to mess around much with the Table games, but I'll probably try them out for fun!

Also another question, I'm reading stuff about these things called "drink tickets" that you can get after making a bet, is that stuff actually real and legit??

Once you get in the door you have to strip and get into a robe and you can just walk around the whole place and join rooms or just watch.

Bigday you and I could go and walk around in robes and then we can choose where we want to go and play

The nicest sportsbook for watching games is in the Palazzo, but they are very stingy with drink tickets. The World Series of Poker is going on now, so if you like poker at all this is the best time of year to play. If you gamble for green chips ($25) on table games do it at a smaller casino and get a card/get rated. Vdara/Aria won't comp you shit for this sort of action, but a place like a place like Rio, Flamingo, Palms, Golden Nugget will give you very good future offers for this sort of action.

I got some advice. Whatever money you bet there just know there is a chance you may never see it again.
You must accept that and be at peace with whatever you wager.

Don't let losing your bets affect your mood and prevent you from having fun.

Definitely go have a couple beers at the Hobrahaus.

I hear Hot N Juicy is a great place to eat crawfish, crabs , etc if you like that stuff.

El segundo right next to the mall has good Mexican food.

Also right beside it RA Sushi has a good happy hour.

The Wynn and Mirage have the best sportsbooks for watching games IMO.

Get a stripper. I had these 2 fine ass hot women come up to me when I was in Vegas a few years back. One white... one black. Both fine as hell. Not one flaw in any of them. Smoking hot. I was totally caught off guard... I was on my cell phone talking business... and they approached me. I fukking regret it every day. Could of had the time of my life.

Walked up to the window placed a wager to win $500 on a game. Old lady was cool. Gave me 6 drink comps. Just for one wager.

Later that day... same book... some dude kept on coming to the window to handle my wagers... and I made 3 plays all to win $500 each and he gave me 1 drink comp. Yes, I was winning. But he was a total dik.
