I will be moving to Germany July 1st because my company has decided to branch out in the European market. I am both excited and sad that I will now be German and no longer a North American Poster. This is by far the biggest step I have taken in my business. If anybody wants to meet up in Germany let me know. I will be living in Frankfurt.

#17Spent a summer near Frankfurt many years ago...good location for getting to anywhere else in Europe.
Fond memories of an area nearby called "40 Mark Strasse".....not sure if it still exists but curious if it does how high the price has climbed.Comment -

#18Very little is open on Sundays from what I remember so plan accordingly. Oh and they take their recycling and rubbish removal VERY seriously (I got a fine for messing it up two weeks in a row). Oh and there are a lot of kebab shops so you'll never go hungry. That's all I've got.Comment -

And no, I am not going all "their, there etc" on your German.
Point is: you never use "mit keine". You use "ohne". Plus + Minus = Minus. mit(with) + keine(no) = ohne(without).
Boar = with balls
Barrow = without balls
In German:
Boar = Eber
Barrow = Borg (if balls were cut off before 6 weeks old), or Altschneider (Balls cut off ~1 week before killing)
castrated boar = kastrierter Eber
If you want to say: "Boar with no balls", it is "Eber ohne Eier".
EDIT: A female pig = "Sau" in German.Comment -

#34Why would I?
Thing is simple: If you are really going to live in Germany and your story isn't a 100% bullshit again, I'd have no problem to meet you for a beer or two here and show you the town. No idea when I will be in Frankfurt the next time, but it isn't really that far away from my city, it's a little over 200 km I guess.Comment -
