This one doesn't get locked up. I'll take it down to the range get the feel for it and then keep it close by. My dog is good home protection but these things are better. I do have some other weapons but they are locked up. Doesn't do much if you have to fumble with a key first. I've been looking at these for some time. I'll let you know how it feels and my thoughts on it later after actually using it. What a great day! I actually bought it because I am the one with the permit the wife handed over the cash and said have fun.

Sorry for the referring to you like that but don't insinuate that I'm making up some BS story. I do have other weapons, like my Hawk 982 shotgun, holds 5 rounds plus one in chamber. Had that for some time, thought about the Remington 870 or the Mossberg 500 but the hawk in a reasonably price gun for 200.00 or less. Anyway smoke have a nice day.
