picked up a 2016 hyundai elantra with only 80k mileage on it for $3.2k(kbb private sale value over 8K) about 10 days ago have not really drove it but checked it out computer and mechanically, and car fax- and everything is great. It has a timing chain(not belt) which in my book is a double thumbs up. Here is what I know about this car it has hail damage(hence the cheap price and no it was not a loss record with the insurance) The damage is the 3 obvious areas hood-front, hood-top, and trunk rest of body is fine. the 3 options for repair are standard 1] pull the dent with dent pull kit but I think that will take hours upon hours 2]Push the dents with a paint less dent pusher which takes less time but involves some skill after watching some videos on it. 3] replace the panels themselves individually which are expensive after researching prices about $300-$500 per piece, but a little ingenuity I can just go to a U-Pull-&-Pay - Self-Serve Used Auto Parts : U-Pull-&-Pay (upullandpay.com) and acquire 2 panels and buy a sheet to redo the upper-hood as its welded, just buy a sheet and cut old out weld new one on
any suggestions???

has already came back . Bout 70% , I think the people who don’t get theirs back
right away , the actual nerves in the nose , tiny little branches have completely been wiped out
and the new sprouts aren’t up to par . What’s concerning with this is that , the area
in which the nerves have to regrow is so short, once the nerves start to regrow
the little axons should finish up their work quick and some type of smell or taste
should begin to occur . So , for the people a year or longer with no smell or taste
I personally think their prognosis is bleak . Without serious sensory training
(which they already should if been doing ) they might never smell or taste again

Say about 10-15 dings each panel some little over inch wide, depth mabye quarter inch in depth. I don't mind buying spot welder and doing the old grinding job pulling if it comes to it got the extra time who gives..

This year it's 9-8-2 ATS for +.28 units, and 13-3-3 vs the close, averaging more than 1 point vs the close on the crude comparison...

Sort of.

Actual sesnroy neurons do not have ACE2 receptor proteins, which is how SARS-CoV-2 gets into human cells.

But there are cells that support those neurons do have that receptor and can be attacked. The exact mechanism wasn't understood actually but the realized the olfactory nerves aren't in trouble and don't need to regrow. It's one reason sense of smell does come back so fast. It takes longer to regrow nerves.

They do think the inflammation from the infected supporting cells are causing the issues.
