I have some strong leans for tomorrow:

Milwaukee +9 - Too strong of a number for the Hornets given their lack of cohesion and awareness on offense in preseason. Bucks probably won't win, but are fairly evenly matched at each position.

Miami -4 - Very underrated team in the Heat. Wizards playing without key players makes it a little baffling as to the short number.

Utah +3 - Quin Synder has the Jazz playing on a much different level than last year so far. The defense is much improved as well as the backcourt. The length between Gobert, Kanter, and Favors should help limit easy paint points and make Houston live on jumpers.

GSW -4 - Sacramento's defense is very prone to getting burned with extra passes which the backcourt of GSW will gladly exploit. Draymond Green starting at PF helps bring a bit more defense inside the paint while Lee's scoring is missed a bit.

Portland - 8 - OKC has looked horrible in preseason and very lost on offense with Westbrook forcing the issue too much. However it is hard to blame him when most of his teammates' shot selection lately has been equally as worse as his. Additionally, defense was a key area Portland wanted to tune-up in the offseason as they ranked among one of the worst last season.

their over/under is set @ 36 wins.
Im going 8 units on the over 36.
This prolly is not what you would call a "popular" pick

Couple quick reasons I chose the over 36

I like the additions.

Jodie Meeks,D.J Augustin, and Caron Butler gives them that much needed perimeter threat
to help space the floor for their big three Drummond,Smith, and Monroe.
Cant stress enough the importance of those outside threat additions ,
Pistons still somehow led the league in points in the paint even without zero spacing.

Cant forget to mention the impact Stan Van Gundy will have as the new head coach.
He has always gotten the most out of his roster and his main goal is to get this teams chemistry on point.
Drummond is a star in the making and im not thinkin thats in the years to come. This starts tonight.
In the last month of the previous season he averaged 19 points,18 rebounds,and 2 steals per game.
All the while shooting 69% from the field

I hate Meeks being out for 6 more weeks due to his backdue to his back injury
but Pope led the whole summer league in points per game and has a full year under his belt now

Not going to be perfect, nor do I see them going anywhere as far as playoffs probably
but I have confidence in the Pistons going at least 39-43 this year.
