July 1 is New Year's day in the business world.
I still work, I just don't drive to an office building to do that anymore.
I'm still gainfully employed and everything only difference is my home office here in casa de Nasher really is my home office now.
I only drive to the office building is there is a need for me to be there that is hardware related, I can do my job from here, and my company set up about 12 of us IT geeks in the geeky IT department to do just that.

"Independent Nasher" (the real life Nasher) is swamped with work.
We close out the corporate year on June 30 as the business New Year starts next week.
And as always I am up to my lovely asshole in paperwork. I never claimed my job was exciting, it is not, I love it, I love playing with numbers and getting paid to do it, but it is not exciting.

So "Independent Nasher" (the real life me) is dominating "Relationship Nasher" (the faceless, nameless internet fella) that all of you have known to grow and love (or not love, who knows?)
