This guy might be the smartest guy on the Forum.

Not only for the conclusions he can reach, but for actually listening to what I'm saying.

Hit it on the head. Ever here me talking about making calls to get more information and updates on the information?

When I say everyone has the same information, is that true? Not always. There is a wall. But...

But when it comes to a public gauge. I've mentioned how that is developed and yes it uses personal info but also a survey of public sentiment to make a number.

Sports is like Groundhog day to me. What if I came to Phil's conclusion, that he was just God, who had just been around long enough to know everything about everybody?

What if I just knew every possible way to handicap, and seen all levels of experience at work, both in success and pitfalls? What if I was just sitting high up in the tree watching the crowd below try to climb, seeing some get higher than others. What else would I see? I'd see the same spots on the tree knock bettor after bettor off. I'd some of those bettors never get past that.

I'd see the newest crowd of bettors, the ones that feed the perpetual market that shakes out losers. Those that came of age, or came up in money, or simply came because a new market opened for them legally (most of them were always there due to large local bookies, but no doubt legalization has brought not only more money, but more volatility).

I'd see those new bettors follow the same exact paths, everytime, up the tree, successful ones along with those doomed to fail.

What would you do with that kind of experience, knowledge, and insight? Remember, it's bettor vs. bettor out there, the book just takes commission. Sure, sometimes it's us vs. the books, but the real enemy is the other bettors, the sharper groups, the other poker players at the table.

So the body of information comes from a lot of places, and with the internet, for the most part, we all have access to the same info. But not only do I have experience beyond comprehension, but I have back end info, attained by phone, and use that info in algos.

Ever hear me mention that the books put out bad info that day?
