#117255Notice that the WhiteSox were a low line against Minny, then minny triggers, white sox beat em 16-4 on May 17th.
Then we get to fade the public Friday and the same thing happens with WhiteSox, and we get a Yankee trigger....that wins.
But what of Minny?
Here's a post from a thread that says it all...
...It really does look, like the market has gone to efforts to generate action on both of the game hovering around a fairly sharp line. If they open where they know they're split, they won't get the desire action on this game.
Books doing good job here, trying to force bettors to gamble and those that won't they are creating market condition to draw us in...
With the contrarian markets tanking, bettors might question their methods, and then the give and take kicks in.
Let's see what happens with the broader Fund plays...
964 21-May NYY -107 0.93 Fri 0.93 Week 1-4 5.03 Week 5 -2.69 Week 6 0.03 Week 7 3.63 Mon -1 Tue -3 Wed -1 Thu -1 Total 0.93
And we get the bounce at the lowest support level and it's worth noting that the SMA 10 has now crossed the SMA 20 to put us in a sell signal.

Sausage, egg, english muffin strawberry jam, had a solid breakfast.
Haven't had a painkiller all week, feeling it a bit, but not like I thought. Don't feel quite right, but also have no interest in taking a painkiller to fix that. Mentally in a good spot with those.
We got games nasher, and let me know what you think about that chick swallowing a stick of butter.
That was something else.
And so is Ashley Sky...

#117270You can see in the Forum where some bettors had a nice win streak while the contrarian markets dipped and I lost and then comes Friday and they get wiped out, game after game while the contrarian markets get a bump. You can see the exaggeration in the markets for the first Friday of a bunch of playoffs.
I've often talked about bettors being emboldened with wins and many will be, betting bigger in the near future, where they lose. We've even seen how the books try to increase action, exploiting both ends of this. You've heard me talk about settlement.
It's bleeding into today as well. It will be interesting to see today's results.
It's a never ending rotation that, while it repeats itself, does it in such unexpected ways or induces shakeouts before repeating, that the bettors get taken for a ride in the give and take. If a bettor lacks patience and discipline, or is emotional during the ride, that bettor has absolutely no chance of walking away a winner.
Yes, that bettor can win, and win big, but the chances of walking away like that are not very high. That bettor will give it back.
It's only when you can appreciate what they bring that you can truly appreciate how they bring it.

#117279Notice as Texas takes the big lead pressure on Boston (vs Philly) increased, bettors think there will be a 1-1 in the contrarian market here.
Philly starting, I think Texasa holds here.

Glad to hear you're keeping food down.
Good news.
Nice breakfast by the way, last time I had that power breakfast Ally was banging on my bathroom door "Hey Bill, you ever hear of a courtesy flush, you're killing me out here"
Haven't had a painkiller all week, feeling it a bit, but not like I thought. Don't feel quite right, but also have no interest in taking a painkiller to fix that. Mentally in a good spot with those.
Also good news.
I love the pain killers, but know this, if I can get through the day without one I'm not taking one.
I don't joy ride.
Pros: They are incredible for pain relief.
Cons: Highly addictive and they all do tricks to my stomach, I don't really like the after effect queasy feeling they leave.
Glad to hear you're solid mentally.
Mental heath is just as or more important than physical heath.
You can't have good physical health with poor mental health.
I see a great psychiatrist, his big things are "sleep, sleep, sleep"
Sleep is great for mental heath.
He knows I worked grave yard for many years, and my sleep pattern was non existent.
His main concern with me is now that I am semi-retired, and working remotely from home am I keeping myself occupied.
I'm like "Doc, I've never been busier, and I'm working on my schedule now, I answer only to me, I'm my new boss.
Besides my I/T (which is my work) my sports, music, communications and writings keep me a) more than busy and b) more than happy.
The past 2 1/2 years has been almost heaven for me. It would be heaven on Earth if I did not have these chronic hip problems.
And I am sleeping almost like a normal person, almost.
When I was working grave yard the Doc used to ride me about "you're not getting the right sleep"
I'm like " i know, but I don't have an on/off switch.
Looking back on my professional career, unless absolutely necessary no man should work the midnight to eight shift.
Regarding the ginger eating the butter.
Nothing give me a rock hard woody like a red head sucking down a 1/4 pound of dairy fat I tell ya.
lol
And finally we do indeed have games, more games than I can shake a stick at.
I would have a flawless week except (get this) I'm all over the under 221 of the GSW game last night.
I was on the under like Thomorino on a bad betting line.
Lock city, right?
Warriors closed like a freight train to send it to O/T. (that game had no business going to O/T in the first place)
And even at 98 and 98 the five minute O/T needed
24 points to sink me.
And I don't have to finish the rest of the story.
I was 5 and 1 in my last six going into that game.
Lastly, good to have you back fella.Comment -
