So I'm doing trivia night at my local bar and grill place and the host asks a question...two point answer...one point for each correct answer..."What was the first Russian satellite in space? and What was the first American satellite in space?"...nearly everyone got the Russian satellite right...A)Sputnik....and all of us missed the USA satellite!!..A)Explorer....I said Eagle...but that was the craft that landed on the moon!...

...Weird but true...both funny and sad at the same time...

...As a matter of fact, I'd be willing to bet any amount of money that if you guys asked the same exact question to family and friends you would get similar results as well...

strange... had zero clue of first Russian satellite , but knew instantly first USA satellite
