No, not really taking a big stance there. I used words like kinda and that I don't know much about him and his music.

Hopefully, anyone who's read my shit would know I'm not surprised that the early 2-0 MLB leader has lost the lead.

But this game will be over so early that I would expect perhaps multiple lead changes or a tie game keeping the game ambiguous.

Multiple lead change mean the books are getting action early and are encouraging that action. For a Monday with so few issues, it's what I would do.


Then we can look at which lines are freezing, which lines are blinking, and which we expect to do what.

This is combined with handicapping, of course.

Games like this remind me of how we used to call the first 30 mins to an hour of stock market trading amateur hour. Big moves caused foolish reactions for some bettors and the big guys making the big moves took advantage.

Patience is necessary when reading the markets based on these early games. Volume pretty good in this game, rating in low double digits and it's some kind of indicator, but trying to read the later market based on this game alone is a gamble.

We need more than the forecast and an early result. We need to adjust it; we need volume, we need trades, we need percentages, we need edges.

Tough to find in a dirty Monday like this one.

Cold and rainy day here in Iowa. Now feels like a good time to pour a drink and turn on the playlist we used to listen to back in the day while sitting on the porch drinking beers at the frat house.
