The disappointment is in the way it was brought, the bad beat. Purists want to point to all the factors that led both to the Over not coming, and the push occurring.

Every single factor, including the dropped pass, could, if you wanted to view it through an alternate lens, be attributed to player decisions. We could add the ref flags, but in the end, those are definitely attributed to player decisions, no matter the lens you use.

If you missed the play, Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor forced a Calvin Johnson at Seattle's one-yard line. After the ball left Johnson's hands, it rolled into the end zone, where it was batted out of bounds by Seahawks linebacker K.J. Wright.
