I took Virginia -13.5 in a contest. The line dropped and I know it was sharp money...at least as sharp as will step into the market this early in the season (instead of sharp, call it "a little more sophisticated"). No long write up here but to say I have Virginia winning by 14 in my forecast and I believe the "little more sophisticated" money is being led down a path to a loss.

I countered that line movement and took Virginia -12 (-110) and -12.5 (-110) over Richmond.

As far as Pitt and Nova are concerned, I have Pitt winning by about 10 points in about a 45 point game. Not many totals out there but most were around 49 or 50.

I think Pitt's price was inflated here and it helped generate a more even amount of bets, splitting a few groups, for the books. In my opinion this Pitt game is a set up for some bettors for another game down the road...at week 5 or sooner (in week 5 we will see some of the bigger betting groups enter the market.)

Let's see if my forecast holds, that will tell us a lot about Pitt.

Time is definitely on your side here CashFlow. But it will take time. These nerves are a bitch when they are pissed off, injured or inflamed, but they do tend to heal and regenerate.

They’ve been burning nerves in my neck that cause a shitload of pain, it works well but because of where they burn, the nerves grow back, and they come back with a vengeance. It turns out they may stop coming back after a few burns…we’ll see. One thing is for sure, I don’t need those nerves; they just cause pain.

I was also having crazy side effects from the burns (not everyone gets them) that took a lot of time to get better, and I’m still not fully recovered from it.

What about you? I hope everything is healing right, I feel for you bro. Let your lady take care of you in the way she knows how, when you get better, you can pay it back in full.

I assume the doctor said to give the nerves time to heal. Curiously, how did you determine possible nerve damage? Was it pain or numbness in your face? In sense, given what’s happened to you, that may be a bit “normal” if you know what I’m saying.

Actually, I was declaring the Crimson Tide as a bet tonight. Bama starting out slow though.

I have BYU beating Arizona 38-24. The total opened as high as 63, dropped to 60.5 or so and now back up to 63.5. Seems 62 points is right in the middle there.

That line has also moved toward BYU, towards my line. My forecast seems right for the market and BYU may not be a bad play at all.

A ton of info to process and it's only day one...lol. I could think of a few areas already that could benefit from some programming, already.
