This apparently 19 year old jackass, supposedly is the boston bomber, and has given the government the "right" to lockdown the entire city, literally inhibiting movement... and then on top of all that, they are allowed to knock and do "limited searches" of these homes.

And I addressed this earlier in the thread. These people didn't just bomb the Marathon. They've now gone on to kill and injure people last night (our time). If operations were called off and yet another person got injured or god forbid killed not only would the police be morally in the wrong but then they'd be legally liable. Innocent people cannot cruise around while this kid is out there. Yes I think the amount of money spent is horrendous. However I also clearly remember what happened with Richard Jewel and when the police tried to find the person responsible behind the Oklahoma City Bombings. And even closer to home what happened with Jill Meagher. I prefer they do it thoroughly and do it right. Check every single home, chase every single lead, even if some of them end up to be fruitless. Eventually he'll be caught and the fact his brother's body arrived at the morgue with a trigger for a detonation device on his body should be enough that we all accept we want law enforcement to find him not only as quickly as they can but with respect to the safety of random joes and janes sitting inside their homes right now. Seriously can't see how anyone can find something wrong with this.

At least hold the police to a similar degree of accountability as you do the perpetrator here as they've proven themselves to be less than lawful on occasions during this whole incident.
