    Last year I paid $6K. Seems like a reasonable price. Fiance works at the jewelry store I bought it at. Because these places bring in the diamonds from Holland I didn't have to pay tax. I got the diamond for half price because the owners are basically family. With the savings on the diamond, ring and tax the whole thing should have been about $13.5K.

    This is just another reason no one should get married, that's love to an American woman in a nutshell right there boys, every cent you got and borrow more to show you "love" her . No wonder why the number one cause of divorce is financial stress, hell if you make 50k/yr and give the bitch a 12k ring she thinks shes marrying fuckin Bill Gates, then when ya lose your job to some Chinese guy who will do it for 1k/yr she hits the road
