If you got lost on a camping trip, how long could you last in the woods?

I think it is impossible to starve to death in 3-4 days

most people don't camp in freezing conditions

not too many bear deaths

in the woods its hard not to find some water somewhere

I'd say it would be a big long shot for just about any healthy adult to die BEFORE 30 days

you also gotta take into account, that no one that goes camping and gets lost, STAYS lost.

its not like you get dropped down in the middle of a 25,000 square mile forrest with a helicopter all alone

LOL!!! well as far as the Bear deaths.. it depends where you go camping. In Alaska you would get eaten by a Bear pretty quickly i'd imagine.


But a couple questions for the OP ... does my basic backpack contain a knife, Gun with extra ammo, fishing line , and pack of lighters???
